Portable Power Station
How can I charge the portable power station?
Bahoo portable power stations can be charged by three charging methods.
DC 12-30V from solar charger MPPT
Car Charger DC 12-30V
Using AC Power given through an adapter
Thus, users can charge through the solar panels that they are carrying on their outdoor trips. They can also use their car charger to charge the power station. The third method is the AC power supply. There is a compatible AC adapter with the portable power station to charge from the main AC power supply.
How long can the portable power station power my devices?
The user can easily get an idea of how long the power station can power different devices. Check the watt-hour rating in the specifications and divide it by the power required by the device.
For instance, if you have a 1000 watt-hour portable power station, you can power a TV of 60W for 16 hours (1000 wh/60w = 16 hours approx).
If you have a 300 watt-hour power station, you can charge your 18-watt mobile phone about 54 times.
We use high-quality batteries, and the actual watt-hour capacity is a bit more than the advertised watt-hour capacity. For example, our 1000W portable power station has a 1075.2 watt-hour capacity.
How can I know if the power station is suitable for my needs?
It is quite easy to know whether the power station is suitable for your needs or not. The energy rating of the portable power station is mentioned in the specifications. It shows what devices can be powered and how long any device can be powered. For example, the 1000W power station can power any device with a rated power of below 1000 watts.
Secondly, some devices or equipment require instant peak or surge power at the start, and then their consumption is dropped down to the rated power. It is necessary to look at the surge/peak power to know whether such devices or equipment can be powered by the power station or not. The surge/peak power indicates the maximum power the power station can provide. For instance, our 1000W portable power station can provide 2000W of surge or peak power. It shows the devices that need instant peak power of below 2000W can be easily powered using the power station.
What type of batteries are used in the power stations?
We use two types of batteries in our portable power stations. One is the NMC ternary lithium-ion battery. Its positive electrode material is nickel cobalt manganese. It offers a nominal voltage of 3.7V. The cycle performance is average, and the discharge rate is high. This type of battery is in our 300-700W power stations. For 1000W power stations, we use LiPeO4 batteries that are more stable. Moreover, these are eco-friendlier than other types of batteries.

What is the cycle life of the batteries?
The power stations having an output wattage of 300-700W contain ultra-stable Li-ion NMC batteries that have a cycle life of over 500 cycles. Our 1000W portable power station contains LiFePo4 batteries having a cycle life of over 1000 cycles. After these cycles, the battery capacity is about 80%, and it starts to reduce with time.
We use optimal quality batteries that have a long life span. Our portable power stations have a life expectancy of 3-6 years, depending on the cycle life, how it is used, how it is maintained, and various other factors.Secondly, some devices or equipment require instant peak or surge power at the start, and then their consumption is dropped down to the rated power. What is the difference between a modified sine wave inverter and a pure sine wave inverter?
The quality of the sine wave output from a portable power station matters a lot. If the sine wave is not pure, it might damage sensitive equipment and devices, such as laptops and mobiles.
A modified sine wave inverter is also called a quasi-sine wave inverter. The output wave is not like a pure sine wave; it is a square wave that undergoes abrupt changes. These inverters are cheap, but they can harm sensitive electronic devices.
On the other hand, the output of a pure sine wave inverter is near to the actual sine wave. It does not harm electronic devices; however, it is a bit more costly.
We use only pure sine wave inverters in our portable power stations. Thus, our products are safe to power all kinds of delicate and sensitive electronic devices.

What are the safety protections?
Bahoo portable power stations are equipped with multiple safety protections, including:
- Over-current in discharge protection
- Over-current in charge protection
- Over-temperature protection
- Short circuit protection
- Over-voltage protection
- Under-voltage protection
All these safety protections ensure the long life span of the power stations. These work immediately to protect the power stations from faults and prevent accidents.
Will the power station damage my appliances?
No, the output of power stations is a pure sine wave. It is a sophisticated technology that is suitable for sensitive devices as well. The output quality is excellent, so none of your devices will be damaged.
What is the AC output voltage and frequency?
What can I power using the portable power station?
There are many devices you can power using the power station, such as mobile phones, cameras, drones, laptops, light bulbs, car fridges, and TVs. It can charge the devices multiple times depending on the watt-hour rating.
What is the operating usage temperature?
The optimal operating usage temperature of the portable power station is -20°C to 60°C. Thus, it can work in different seasons and countries.
What is the charging time?
The charging time depends on the energy capacity of the portable power stations. The 300W power station requires 3-4 hours, while the 1000W power station requires 10-11 hours to get fully charged from an AC outlet or car charging port.
Is the portable power station noisy?
No, our portable power stations are noise-free. The users can do everything while sitting near them. They do not create any disturbance.
